The I-series lens was a collaboration product I created for my Projects in Graphic Design class. The goal of this project was to create a new product for a company and create several deliverables for it. I chose to create a Cannon lens designed for the iPhone. Once the concept for the lens was done, I had to make several outcomes to advertise the product. In the end, I created a series of advertisement posters, a box that the lens would be packed in, an app that the lens would work with, and a contest that would engage users with the lens. This project demonstrates my understanding of established brands, ability to use mockups, and proficiency

in product photography.
Advertisements

I wanted the ads for the lens to be in a similar vein to how apple advertises their products. The white background is there to contrast the black exterior of the phone. I chose these angles to have a profile of what the lens would look like on the phone.
App

When someone buys the lens, the user can download an app that would interact with the lens. The app has a manual interface that you would see on a Canon camera. This would allow photographers to take manually exposed photos on their phones.
Packaging

This is the packaging for the bundle. I placed the I-series logo in the corner of a rounded rectangle to show an abstracted version of the lens on the iPhone. The box is mostly white to be on-brand with Apple’s packaging.
Photography Contest

In order to create excitement around the collaboration. I decided to create a poster for a campaign that would encourage people to buy and use the lens and phone. The contest would be open to users to take pictures with the I-Series lens and the winner would be published on Apple and Cannons social media.
